So there I was, checking out the server logs for the conservativenation.net website (I’m sort of a geek that way) when something caught my eye. It was a series of entries showing that yesterday’s Kay Hagan post had been accessed from an email link. Nothing unusual about that except for the fact that the site had been live for less than 24 hours and the Hagan post itself wasn’t quite 9 hours old. Curiousity getting the better of me, I looked up the IP address, which came back registered to the U.S. Senate Sergeant at Arms.
My best guess is that someone from Hagan’s office checked Google for new content related to the senator (doing so this afternoon brought up only a half-dozen links total, one of which was to my Hagan post) and then followed it straight to our humble site.
So, welcome to Conservative Nation, U.S. senate. You may not always like what you read here, but it’s good to see you’re paying attention.
