After reading about THE MESSIAH’S speech in Egypt the other day, you know – one of the recent stops on his current, whirlwind “America Sucks” tour, I noticed one of the comment written beneath the article that’s stuck with me for a few days. Paraphrasing slightly, it said that if this speech had been given at any time prior to election day, John McCain would have been president today. Truly an interesting thought, I, well…, thought.

Which made me think some more – something that folks on the “other side” apparently don’t do a great deal. I started wondering if the notion that lots of folks are starting to get voter’s remorse is as true as I believe it is. The thought that if O’bama would have actually said what he thought/intended to do *before* the election would have thrown it the other way was real, there must be a metric shitload of folks out there that:

a) didn’t bother doing even a rudimentary amount of thinking before voting for Mr. Trendy,
or
b) didn’t vote for any reason other than Rolling Stone Magazine and Leonardo Dicaprio told them to vote for THE GIFTED ONE THAT WASN’T BUSH.

I’m sure that there are a good number of folks out there that agree with the socialist/Marxist/statist agenda that’s being spewed as I’m also sure that there are a lot of Black folks that felt the need to vote for him out of a civic duty that I don’t necessarily understand or fault them for one iota. BUT, this election was won by the votes of those groups. It was won by the efforts of George Soros creating a trendy candidate that could run as the anti-Bush. Obviously, it was a very effective tactic and one that had been in the works for at least several years.

My hope at this point is that Mr. Steele, et.al, don’t try to copy this tactic. The Republicans too often see a winning strategy and try to emulate it come election time missing the forest for the trees. It ISN’T about the messenger, it’s about the message. Well, in real life it is anyway.
